Luggage
Locker luggage is different from all tie-on style luggage
out there because it locks on the bike. We received a patent
on the lock-on systems we incorporate in our products. Whether
it's a Zip-Pak, a Seat Sak, or the Tank Locker, this ability
to lock the bag securely on the bike offers distinct advantages
over tying bags or using bungee cord or magnets to secure
your luggage pieces.
SAFETY:
Locking the luggage in place eliminates any chance of the
bag itself, or any of the straps or bungee cords used to
tie it on coming loose and finding their way into the rear
wheel or drive line. Anything becoming lodged in the rear
wheel or drive chain causes the potential for serious injury
at worst…loss of the bike…or a memorable scare
at best. We're stunned at the number of horror stories we've
heard concerning incidents resulting from luggage pieces
becoming untied and finding their way into the rear wheel…or
into the path of the people following behind. We can't speak
for you, but magnetic tankbags scare us to death. Rocket
Locker eliminates any worry about this potentially life
threatening situation.
SECURITY:
Since our bags lock in place, the theft potential is eliminated.
No longer can anyone come along, untie your bags, and walk
away with them. Each pocket and pouch has two zippers, allowing
use of a small luggage lock between them, thus preventing
them from being opened. The Zip-Pak system perimeter zipper
also has accommodations for use of a luggage lock as well.
Put your helmet, gloves, and valuables in the bag, lock
it up, and walk away.
CONVENIENCE:
Since we've eliminated the need for straps or bungee cords…no
more scratched bodywork, paint, or plastic. No more unsightly
feats of engineering required in an attempt to tie a bag
on tightly enough it won't come loose or fall off. No more
chance of it becoming dislodged and upsetting the bikes
balance. No more reaching back a hundred times checking
to see if it's still in place. No more pulling over for
roadside re-tie sessions of flapping straps and loosened
bungee cords. No more backpacks adding to the strain on
your back (not to mention the additional weight located
high above the suspension/handling geometry) and giving
you one more thing to have to carry around after you get
there. Park that backpack in your closet.

Bag
Sizes:
Luggage
Locker bags are individually sized according to the bike
application for which they fit. Consequently, not all bags
are the same size nor do they have the same storage capacity.
Below are the dimensions of an Elite bag that fits the Suzuki
SV650. This bag is mid-sized, so the dimensions fall somewhat
towards the upper end of the size range. The largest bag
available is for the older GSXR 600/750... the smallest
available is for the Honda RC51. Seat Saks are the same
bag (size, features, construction) as the Zip-Pak version
pieces.

All
Luggage Locker products are shipped from our Ohio distribution
center by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Most deliveries
take 2-3 days, but orders to the west coast may take longer.
Overnight, Fed Ex and UPS, service is available upon request
and may incur additional charges. International shipping
is available and priced according to destination.
Delivery Times:
We
are trying to inventory as much product as is reasonably
possible. Given the specificity of the individual pieces,
it's not possible to stock all products for every application.
If the product you order is in stock, it will ship within
24 hours. If it's not in stock, then the product is placed
on the production list and normally produced in less than
a week. Seat Saks ship within 24 hours of our getting them
from the sewing factory. Zip-Pak Bags may take a bit longer
depending on hardware availability and the assembly backlog.
We make every effort possible to get these bags to you as
quickly as we can, but production situations beyond our
control may delay this somewhat depending on what you have
ordered. We trust that you understand and you can be sure
we won't tell you one thing and then do another. If you
have an order that's taking longer than we like, we'll keep
you updated about its status. Handmade products like ours
take a bit more time to produce. This is the reason there
are no drive-thru windows at French restaurants.
